Life after death

It's easy to see the felling of huge trees as murder but there is a bigger picture. Woodland maintenance is vital to ensure that trees can grow and after storms and disease there is always a reason to make space for new growth. This week there's lots going on in Chamonix after big storms brought down many trees making woods and roads unsafe. But there's a twist....in the mountains they use a helicopter to quickly transport the trees. Of course then the wood is used for building and making furniture and a new beauty is discovered. There is life after death....
